4th of July....

Well....I know I am a little late ,but we did celebrate the 4th and I need to talk about it!! hahaha We decided to split the weekend up a little bit....Saturday afternoon Harlow went off to Grandma and Grandpa Papes for the night while Waylen and I headed over to Fair Oaks for some swimming and BBQ (a little pre 4th of July festivities). And little did we know about 30 mins after we all got there the guys left us and walked on to the golf course. How does that always seem to happen? Anyway they had a good time and soooooo did the girls. We always get so goofy when we are all together. That night we had the house all to ourselves which I admit was nice, but it was also kinda weird not waking up to her chatting it up with herself. Needless to say...I was ready for her to come home!!
After she got home we got some good news that made us very happy! My sister and Will stopped by and had lunch with us before they headed back to Dallas! I miss her so much and always have so much fun getting to hang out with her when I can. Too bad its not more though.
Then Waylen, Harlow, and I headed to Fredricksburg! We met a bunch of our friends up there and began our so-called "wine tour". We actually have done this many times before (pre-Harlow), so we have narrowed it down to our favorite 2...Becker and Torro de Pietra. Love both....and yes my friends..thats right...... We took our baby to a bunch of wineries! It reminded me of a movie quote from Sweet Home Alabama...when she sees one of her friends from high school at a local bar...and she says "oooohhhh.....You have a baby.....IN A BAR!!!!" hahahha.... She did amazing, and there were actually a lot of kids around and live music outside. If I would have just remembered to bring a big blanket Harlow would have gone nuts. We headed back home after dinner and got a taste of all the San Antonio fireworks! It was perfect!
The weeks just go by faster and faster...Waylen has been super busy with work and between my job and keeping up with Harlow...we are going nonstop...AND I LOVE IT. We are so blessed. Happy late 4th of July to everyone and a special thanks for all those who serve in our armed forces.
PS.... 2 MORE DAYS TIL SOMEONE IS 9 MONTHS!!!!!!!!
Love M

The End!
