The Countdown Begins......

In less than one month my precious baby girl will be ONE!!!! Ahhhhhh.....I can't even believe it. When people said the time would just fly by, I was like....really??? How could it honestly be different from any other year. Boy, was I wrong. It has flown by so quickly that when I look back at all the pictures I am amazed at all the changes this little girl has made. I don't even remember her being that small and helpless. On the other hand, I NEVER imagined having soooo much fun. She is a DIVA......SERIOUSLY! For instance, You are not allowed to have a meal without her playing some part in it; whether its yelling, throwing food on the floor, or wanting more, she let's you know. And she puts on this little show when you're not paying enough attention to her and she does this FAKE, half whine, half cry, and then pulls at your heartstrings by reaching out to you so you will pick her up. For a moment, you feel like the most amazing person in the world until she turns to the next person and reachs out for them. This goes on and on, and on until she runs out of people.
She LOVES pulling the clothes out of all her drawers, folding clothes with mommy, and reading books. I have a feeling she is going to be pretty smart.... She learned her first sign language word "MORE" about a couple weeks ago and uses it non stop! When she goes to get a book she knows exactly which one she wants, and what sounds, pop-ups, and peek-a-boos they each have. She has also started pointing to a picture of her and daddy and saying "Daddy" and something jumbled together word that is starting to resemble "Harlow". She loves that picture and I love it that she loves it! Peek-a-boo is her favorite game....and just so you know......NEVER, NEVER tell her "No" or you will get the saddest poubty face ever. First, the lip shoots out about 3 feet....and then the tears start flowing......I can't help but laugh and then I end up running over to her and holding her while I explain why she can't eat dog food, turn off the dvr, grab and drop our phones...etc. Hopefully this means we will have an easy time disciplining her. Fingers crossed.
Because of the fact that she is moving soooo much...pictures have become harder to take...so I will post some from her birthday invite shoot! Waylen and I, on the other hand have had an opportunity to spend more time out together which is unusual. It is nice to get out, just the two of us, and spend a little time alone. Times like this, as I sit her typing this, I remember how blessed I am. I am so in love with my husband, I have a beautiful healthy daughter that I just can't get enough of, and 2 crazy dogs. What more could a girl ask for????

Love, M
