Happy Halloween!

Halloween was a success. This year since Harlow is still not able to "trick or treat" we went to our church for a "trunk or treat". It was a blast! Everyone decorated the back of their vehicle trunks for Halloween and had candy and stuff for the kids. I didn't get a picture of mine, but it was a hit. I had cupcakes and capri suns for the kids and then a big bucket of candy piled high with spaghetti noodles on top to look like brains!!!! All the kids thought it was sooo cool and gross having to dig through it for candy. I loved it. Harlow was a clown this year and I have to say...she was soooo stinkin cute. We had a sucker in each hand for half the night! She should sleep well tonight!!!!!!! Happy Halloween!

I"m a BIG Girl Now!

Well, we all survived the birthday party weekend! I will admit I went a little overboard, BUT...I loved every second of it and would do it all over again! I will post pics later.
Harlow went with mommy and daddy to her one year appt today. I am glad to say she is in good health...weighing 21.2 lbs...(lean) and 31 inches tall (long)!!!! Everything looked great...except maybe her ears. We may end up doing tubes this winter, but that was kind of expected. Harlow got 4 shots today...none of which we wanted! I tried distracting her with a book, but it didnt work a single bit. She was VERY upset. Here is a pic of her with her sucker after calming down enough for me to set her down.

She also got to turn her carseat around today. She loved it. Just laughed and laughed everytime I turned around. I love my big girl.

Harlow, you are the most precious wonderful gift we have ever received..... Mommy and Daddy love you so much and couldn't be more proud. This first year has been more than we could have ever expected and we feel so blessed to be called your parents. Happy First Birthday Big Girl!
