I KNOW.

I know it has been FOREVER since I have blogged and everyone is all depressed....hahahhahaa, but I am back and have something for ya. Last weekend, the girls and boys split for the morning and the girls went and saw Pinkalicious at the Magik Theatre. Harlow was very excited and every day leading up to Saturday I would ask her if she was ready to go see Pinkalicious and she would scream YESSSSSTTTHHHHH (we are working on the lisp). We read this book at least 3 times a day and its a fan favorite when trying to go to the potty. (More on that later) She was soooo good during the entire play...listening and laughing the entire time. Something we will definitely go back and do. Here are some pics from the play...

The Royal Wedding!

I couldn't resist turning the Royal Wedding into something super cute for Harlow. I love when people talk about where they were the day Princess Diana got married and what all they remember. I am realistic in knowing Harlow will probably have zero recollection of this day, but the pictures can tell the story!! I decided I wouldn't drag her out of bed at 4am (aren't I nice??) so we dvr'd it. I wasn't sure at first which channel I should watch, so I went with my gut and just knew "E" would have ALL the best gossip and style (because that is the most important). I was right!!! I....I mean...WE....LOVED IT. Harlow and I got all dressed up in our jewelry and she wore a princess dress and shoes for the big day. We set up a picnic in front of the TV, made muffins, and drank milk out of fancy cups!! It was magical! ahhaha....

Harlow's friends (stuffed animals) even stopped by for the party!! Unfortunately, they were all obnoxiously loud (seriously) and I had to ask them to leave. Harlow's grandparents think it hilarious to buy her animals that talk and sing songs and one of her Pawpaw's decided to put the idea in her head that it would be really cool if she turned them all on at once!! HAHAHHAA....NOT COOL PAPA!!! So while trying to scope out all the different fascinators and dresses I had to listen to a combination of Hippity Hoppity Easter, B-I-N-G-O, and Be My Baby. Not a good combo! Harlow on the other hand, thought it was very cool. I did make her sit down and watch as the princess walked down the aisle...and we both said...."sooooo preetttttyyyy!"

I loved sharing that moment with her and years from now when people talk about William and Kate's' wedding she will at least know from pictures that she enjoyed that day too!

Easter Treats

From Harlow:

For all those little kids out there that aren't as smart as me.....let me fill you in! Easter is soooo AH-MAAAHHHZZZINNG!!! I loved every second of it. Did you know that on this day, there are colored eggs just laying around with CAAAANNNNY (candy) in them? Seriously!!!! I also got lots of presents from all my grandparents and my Aunt Ashley. My Aunt Ashley is soo cool because she sent me a huge sucker. It was yummy. Everyone tried to eat some of it, but I wouldn't let them. Mom said I had to take off all of my clothes and eat it outside which to me was EVEN BETTER!!! Mommy kept saying.....I was having a "sugar rush" or something...whatever that means!! She also keeps saying one day Easter will be even cooler once I really know what it means, but for now I will enjoy my CAAANNNYYY!!! Happy Easter Peeps!

Happy Easter!!!

Before I go down for what could be a VERY long nap, I wanted to post some pictures of our Easter weekend. We had a great time and Harlow was spoiled rotten by all those who love her. Thanks to everyone who sent H Easter gifts. She loved them all. This morning at church was her first Easter egg hunt. It was a good practice round because all the kids running around and that fact that it was still early left her frozen in her tracks. She had one egg in her hand and fought me every inch of the way when I tried to get her to put them in her basket. Duh!! Because they were MINE!!! (Note to self: we gotta work on the stinginess!) So i did what every (fabulous) mom would do.... i started singing the "Clean Up" song from Barney. Hey, don't judge me...it worked and i will address it next year when she starts telling all the other kids to help her clean up!!! hahahahah..... By the next hunt we were old pros at the whole egg thing! She loved it! And best of all...."He is Risen"!!!! Thank you God for blessing me with so much love! Happy Easter 2011.....it's time to NAP!
